Yeah if they released a patch that alleviated some of the problems I might come back, but in all liklihood they won’t change the way towers, mercinaries, fortress in general all work. In fact I’d be surprised to see another patch with anything significant in it at all.

I didn’t ever say I couldn’t reach the top, I just have no desire to, this game is a skill-less game it all comes down to who is the most willing to lame it up with towers hunt delete etc etc. Lame strategies that don’t make the game fun which is the most important thing, if the game isn’t fun why play it?

You’re right not to play it if it isn’t fun. But then I switched to Odin and play it AoM style without auto-que. Also on the lvl I am on (1700+) it is more skill then lameing, cause you can own people with any god simply by playing better, which may not work from 1900+. Do you mean tower pushing by towers strats? I hate that too, but you can only counter it it seems by tower spamming yourself and hoping to get some siege some time soon.

Its just towers that are laming? I dont see them overly used, and i still cant get most anyone to answer why towers are lame now, but werent in vanilla… yes mercs are lame. Sorry to see you go, gl.

About towers 20 attack ballista towers (40 vs cav with crenellations) is pretty lame. Especially since its eggy that gets them, which is the last civ to need em.

FFC_Lucyano I used Blog2 to start with and for the last little while have been using word press. All they are basically are programs where you put a shell of a site in (all the links, images and cells) which I did by hand, then make different categories in which to place your posts very simple to use once you figure it out.

Okay I managed to download it, but it seems very complicated to install it. Once I download and get a zipfile, I unzip and once that’s done, It has unzipped numerous files, but not a single installation thing. I read the README-file, but I understand bull. What to do to install it easily and just be able to run that program?

Lucyano - it requires a webserver that supports MySQL and PHP - if you don’t have your own server, you’ll have to pay someone for hosting likely. If you just want to have your site on your ISP webspace, you’re probably better off with “Blog“, as it works in an offline manner. Make sure you have the latest video card drivers etc as they are required to run the game.

no need for a refund here, i more than got my moneys worth with the reviews that you did do. If anything, if you decide to evenplay an advanced game of TT once in awhile, add me to your friends list and ill let you whup me one game of one on one. Sad news that your leaving, but I can understand why. AOT was not as good as I hoped it would be. I still enjoy playing it, but mostly I’m just waiting to here ES announce their next project. I hope ES learned from the mistakes made in AOM/AOT. I hope they find a better way to run the rated system. The experts now days seem to care more about smurfing less experienced players non-stop, and trash talking them when they speak up about it,than they care about making the communty a better place. Anyway, thanks for all the time you spent helping the community, and I hope to see you around when ES releases their next project.

I know its a bit late, but did you see that post where NaturePhoenix did a commentary on a game? It struck me that when you had your game clinic running, it would have been a darn sight easier to talk over a game then post the .mp3, than type up reams of analysis!
