A lot of really good double teams gave us a huge advantage as they never seemed able to co-ordinate their attacks at all.

He thought it was the upgrades that made the difference in the game. I think that it was where the hunting was located. Guess I should have picked Poseidon :).

Before saying that he would play me in rated he asked for an agreement of no Atlanteans. His reasoning was that he wanted a fun game. We talked a bit within the game and he said how he played for fun etc not to just win. Hmmm it really showed.

Pretty good game. Mack to the rescue in this one as he saved me from getting killed a couple of times (although it might be hard to tell).

He says he had some issues with his Hotkeys in this game which would be why he gives up so early. The game wasn’t really done at that point.

If you looked at my Zeus games you’ll see I played jk_Dean…. as mentioned there he has a complaint for every game. This time it was building spamming. I really don’t like playing this guy anymore.

He does a lot of good raiding in this one, however he lets me take a key middle tc and that’s really the thing that gives me my victory.

Not the best of maps to have to face Oranos on. Poor unit selection by me at a couple of points really hurt, as well his bigger fishing boom really killed me.

This is a pretty decent game showing how it’s possible to control the flow of the game so long as you have the speed advantage.

A pretty good game, a bit old but still good. Gold becomes very key in this one (as it is every time on this map) and I have to use everything at my disposal to hold onto it.

I don’t really go land fast enough in this one and it hurts for a little while, but salska owns too much for us to lose because of it.

It’s a good thing that water isn’t too important on this one :D, I could have fought harder on water I suppose, but gold was going to be more important in this one I thought.

A simple case of mind over muscle in this one. He asked for a rematch (which I gave) based on the fact the map was unfair….. this coming from a guy who picks set hehe.

Pretty good water battle. He surprises me by fighting back even after it looked like I had complete control. However the high cost of coming back to win the water made him too vulnerable on land.

It sure would be nice to at least be able to hunt through archaic age, really makes it tough when you can’t get any food. But I guess that’s not what this game is meant to be like. Poor use of bronze too now that I look at it :(.

Excellent game, I thought that I was done for for quite a while. but once he gets handicapped with having to use a crappy trade route like myself things start to even up a little bit. Worth a watch.

General goes for the fast Mythic, I’m not entirely sure what went wrong with him, but something certainly did.

General I know you’ll be looking at this page so I’ll ask here…. Why 3 villagers on favor so early? I don’t think this game is really of any note, my direct opponent wasn’t quick enough on land to hold up any sort of fight.

I made a critical mistake after giving up water. I really should have sent one vil to the topside to either wall up or start building stables right away. As it was I just had too much ground to cover and not enough troops to cover both sides effectively.

Well I tried to delay his priest as much as I could, but to no avail, doing a hero that fast really hurts the economy and classical time too much to really be worthwhile. Turns out to be a not bad game but I think I outplayed him by a fair amount.

We manage to quickly take over the water, I let slave get doubled on land though and it starts to cause some problems. Not a bad game.

A decent game with some good back and forth water battles but the smurf let’s me get away with a bit too much on land.

Lot’s of good battles on land and sea in this one. I kind of let my economy get too lopsided at a couple of points, but in the end things seem to work themselves out.

A really interesting game, I get off to a bit of a poor start so go for a very different type of game on mediteranian. Can greeks win without fighting for the water?
|
|
The pair or golden lions relic helps a ton in this one, plus being a bit faster always helps in a poseidon war.
