Not a bad game after he loses all of his fishing he manages to fight back rather nicely to make a game of it. However he left an opening for me to take advantage of it and of course I did.

He tries to raid me with his Hersir, I think if he had put some barracks up behind me he could have done a better and more consistent job of it, as it is though I manage to take map control due to Egypts superior army and that basically decides the game.

The power of the Wadjet againt norse. There really isn’t a whole lot Norse can do against these suckers once there’s any sort of army in front of them. Wadjets attack is just too high and their self healing ways make them easy to keep alive for a long time.

I can’t believe people still go for the fast titan all the time, especially versus other Egyptian players, it’s too easy to counter by anyone any good. Besides that it must be pretty boring to play a strat like that over and over.

The fishing bug still exists, I have one ship that just doesn’t want to drop off its food for some reason. Anyways a pretty tough game for me as I’m playing a civ I’m not too good with vs. a civ that can be quite difficult to beat. Decent game, the funniest part was when he started his titan… I forgot about vision GP hehe.

First mistake, attacking the dock with my villager…. what a waste of vils seconds for nothing. Second mistake… The worst scouting I’ve ever seen from a set player. I could have and should have ended this so much earlier if I had just scouted the map better.

Definitely not the best of maps to be facing off vs. Egypt on I’d say. He was a bit slow getting his land army going which allowed me to take him off of the top water fairly quickly using my spearmen, this led to a huge economy for me and really the game.

Really good game, the only unfortunate thing about it is that our middle man (ARGO_LeandrE) really wasn’t up to the same level of play as everyone else in the game, this created a bit of an inballance, but was still very much fun to play.

A whole lotta Odin goin on in this one. NDYH plays it a bit defensively for the most part I think and it really gives me the ability to play the game any which way I want.

I try to play for map control but unfortunately play it a little bit wrong. I really should have walled/towered the left side and put all my military on the other side. Splitting up like I did with weak Egyptian troops really ended up costing me I think.

Set is still just a bit too easy to boom with I think, I mean no other civ can really get away with building 0 units for nearly as long as Set can.

Water? Who needs the stuff, if you ask me the only thing it’s good for is those wet T-shirt contests. Anyways this is a pretty good game showing yet again how map control can win you the game even when your actual economy and army is a little bit behind your enemies.

This guy is some smurf, 1970 rating in 22 games with I think 2 or 3 loss’ after this game. Anyways just shows how unimportant water can be at times (and the overpowered nature of set).

All Egyptian vs. a ballanced norse/greek/egyptian set of enemies. One quick bit of teamwork wins us an edge on one side of the map. AO_Tora was a bit too passive in this one for them to stay competitive.

Decent game, I get off to a bit of a shakey first few minutes, but things start to turn around. What I don’t understand in this one is how I can have much better upgraded units, more of them and still manage to lose every major battle. Must be those stupid overpowered rams.

Pretty short game, he decides rather prematurely that the game is over for him and he gives up. He did happen to play a little bit silly but I don’t think he was out of it by any means.

Bleh I still forget that you can’t queue villagers to different tasks while you have the pharoah bunched in with them, it really cost me a lot of resources early on, and slowed down my water production a lot. Also a poor decision on my part with not converting a boar first. As well I just didn’t hurt his fishing at all, heh the list goes on and on in this one.

I really like the monkey of set strat, those basically free units that take up 1 pop are great I think. I don’t think set even really needs to be able to convert animals to have a nice advantage.

I was on a bit of a losing streak coming in to this game and getting rather frustrated with my play. Set’s apes are just too powerful to pass up I think.

Not a bad game, I get a decent map for Set with a few animals, but they aren’t nearly as effective in team games due to the map size and the dominance of ranged units.

They have to do something to set’s animals, I mean it’s just ridiculous how poorly I can play and still win due to having 20 free powerful animals.

I knew I was going to be in trouble once we hit heroic. Unfortunately I never recognized all the gold was on one side of the map until too late, silly mistake by me.
