I really played this one poorly, instead of turning so many units into Heroes I really should have just building whored him as much as I could, the cost would have been the same but the effect would have been in my favor I think.

I spent way too long in classical fighting him on his ground, I’ve really got to learn just to raid and leave it at that. Aside from that I just lost too many villagers early on and it really hurt me bad.

This was a really challanging game for me, they rushed me pretty hard in this sort of rematch (we were expecting to play someone else) but this time I didn’t have fishing to fall back on.

Going with two tcs on a map where it can be difficult to raid one side almost works, but giving up the center is just too much to come back from sometimes.

This one is a pretty good game, I wasn’t sure if I would ever push through his middle tc, but a few different approachs finally paid off.

It kind of surprised me when he didn’t FH in this one. It really left the game wide open for me to take. I almost lost it due to a lack of gold villagers at one time even hehe.

I messed up just enough in this one to let him get into the game. It’s just too tough to take egypt off of the water if they don’t want to be taken off.

He claimed that I caused lag during this game near the start so I could kill his priest. What he doesn’t realize is that any lag there was hurt me as much as him because I was busy shooting an aurochs at the time his priest came into my town centre, so I lost as much time shooting at him as he probably lost walking away. Afterwards he asked for a rematch and said “but don’t make lag” So I said that I wasn’t going to rematch him now. He got mad started calling me a rook and swearing at me etc. He’s the first expert I’ve ever added to my pest list…. heck he’s the first person I’ve ever added to my pest list.

I really wish I had seen that gold mine in the back corner. Whether I would have been able to do anything about it is a different matter entirely, but it would have been nice to see :).

As usual this map comes down to who owns the gold mines, doesn’t hurt that he let me boom like crazy on water.

Pretty good game here, some good (and unexpected) classical fighting puts him in pretty good position against me.

A pretty good game, I think that our use of GP’s on each others sides really helped out a couple of times. Having myrms doesn’t hurt either that’s for sure.

An example of how Kronos has one big advantage over Oranos in situations like this. Just goes to show how vulnerable Isis can be if you can get rid of that first Midgol fast.

After the first few minutes of this game it was fairly obvious to me that he was going for a fast rush, that’s why you’ll see me give his oracles a whack here and there. Anyways turned out my guess was spot on, too bad that rush isn’t really all that powerful hehe.

Some good early raiding by him causes me a few problems gaining resources, but you gotta love how easy it is to mass up automatons.
